2nd ESMS Mohs Surgery Course and 1st Lab Technicians Day, 2019
The 2nd ESMS Mohs Surgery Course and 1st Lab Technicians Day took place on 1-2 November 2019 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The course was organised by The European Society for Micrographic Surgery and the Dutch Workforce Mohs Surgery, and hosted by Mohs Klinieken Amsterdam.
The course gathered 158 participants from 23 different countries all over the world.
The 2nd ESMS Mohs Surgery Course programme included extensive coverage of different Mohs techniques, laboratory techniques, indications and reconstruction techniques as well as combinations with other (medical) treatments. Furthermore, there was several practical sessions, including live surgery demonstrations and group work with microscopy sessions, lab demonstrations and small group discussions about operative techniques.
The 1st Lab Technicians Day programme included lectures, workshops and interactive sessions. The lectures were given by dermatologists, pathologists and Mohs technicians.
